We are divine, magnificent beings born of the light and stars. We are the COSMOS made into the image of a human being. However long or short our journey is for this particular time span, we are experiencing the wonder and magic of the COSMOS.
Each time I paint galaxies, interdimensional places, starscapes…the COSMOS, I feel a tremendous sense of HOME and belonging. I know that I am traveling through time and space and that’s each painting I create is just a remembrance for me.
When I was younger, enjoying a movie in the theatre with scenes from a distant galaxy or the the vibrant ever-changing nebulas on screen, a lump would form in my throat and I’d feel the tears spring forth. At first I didn’t understand what was happening. Then I realized that this was a feeling of longing and belonging at the same time. This still happens to me, but now I know that when I see these images or films of the COSMOS, it’s just my soul remembering. Now I paint the COSMOS because that’s what fills my heart and soul with joy, and the longing is lessened just a little bit.
Each painting is signed and dated, and includes a golden wood easel. I protect my paintings with several layers of Isolation Coat and Archival Gloss Varnish. You can immediately enjoy your art in your home or office without the barrier of a glass frame, so the energy and love of the painting comes through directly to you.
