Every time I see a full moon, it calls to me. The brilliance, shine, and the magic of the moon are majestic. There’s something all-knowing and comforting about the moon’s glow.
When I was pregnant, I would wake up around 2 a.m. each night. On many nights, I would peer out of my bedroom window, and see the familiar, beautiful face of the moon watching over me. It was comforting. I had no trouble going back to sleep. When our son, Gabriel, was born, he would awake at 2 a.m. for his nighttime feeding! It’s as if he too felt the moon’s pull. My husband, Stan, would wake up with us to keep us company. He would fix me some nice, buttered toast with a large glass of cool water. Our little family bonding began this way many years ago under the loving, watchful eye of the moon. And I am grateful.
This Giclée print of my original painting is printed on museum-quality Hahnemühle paper with a white border. Each print is signed and dated.
