4.21.23:  Fact #11 – Vegan…

I’ve been a vegan for 10 years.

I’m proud to make the choice to live as a vegan in kindness to animals.  It really was an easy decision.  I’ve always eaten more fruits and veggies in my diet.  I watched a few documentaries on animal cruelty in the food industry, and it made me extremely sad.  I also saw the negative impact on our environment so I made the switch to go full-on vegan on a milestone birthday.

I love the ancient wisdom, kindness, unconditional love, and strong spirit of animals. They are amazing creatures.  Our dog, Choco, has also taught me what a beautiful sentient being he is, and therefore I looked at other creatures through this same lens.  I’m grateful for this life lesson from our Choco.
